Thought to Action: Engaging College, Community, and Students through Service-Learning Partnerships

Call for proposals deadline is June 27th.

This exciting two-day service-learning conference is being co-sponsored by Buffalo State College, New York Campus Compact, and the Western New York Service-Learning Coalition and will include both traditional and innovative community based workshops. Proposals are being sought for individual presentations, panel discussions, and poster or visual presentations that highlight best practices in local, regional, national and/or international service-learning partnerships. Presentations from engaged faculty, staff, students, and community partners (including team presentations) are encouraged. Concurrent sessions are 60 minutes long and should allow appropriate time for discussion and questions. Community based workshops are 2 ½ hours and take place in the local community (transportation will be provided).
